A few months back, I wrote about how I discovered digital product creation and selling. And that I planned to delve into it as sort of a side hustle.
So yeah, I’ve taken the plunge and am still learning about it. Still on the side because I still have a regular job (even if the pay isn’t regular).
I researched, bought a mini-course, joined groups with co-creators and sellers, and made my own digital products.
Right now, to be honest, it’s still not profitable. I did manage to get a sale. But then again, I wasn’t consistent in my efforts. That’s most likely why.
But it’s not stopping me. Right now, I know I have to put all my efforts and not be shy about it. And that’s why I’m here, sharing with you my journey with digital products.

In my last related post, I told you that I already created my own products:
- First was The Wanderlust Travel Planner, which is a printable PDF planner that you can use when you, well, travel (what else?). I had fun creating this because I was recalling my personal experience of traveling to Japan. Each of the pages were what I used myself during the planning stage (of course with the help of my sister, who was the one who arranged the itinerary).
- Next was The Wanderlust Travel Affirmation Cards, which I planned as a companion to my first digital product. I really wanted to do affirmation cards but I thought, why not make a niche card set? Something that stands out from the usual. Plus, these affirmations I can also use because I wanted to go back to Japan. Can’t get enough! Haha!
- Third was the DigiLife Travel Planner, which is sort of the same with the Wanderlust Travel Planner EXCEPT that it has a PLR License — PLR meaning Private Label Rights. With this license, I give the buyer the right to rebrand this planner template and then resell it as his or her own product under his or her own brand. They can’t sell my product as is or sell the rights to it; they have to edit or repurpose it for their own benefit. While the Wanderlust Travel Planner is an end-product, meaning it’s for personal use and buyers can’t rebrand and resell it, the DigiLife Travel Planner is like a B2B product that can be redesigned and resold.
- Then I created a 3-in-1 Filipino-English Activity Bundle. This consisted of three color-and-trace books for kids. I thought of this since I remembered my kid’s class wherein most of the students had a hard time with their Filipino subject. This one’s pretty basic and can be added to others’ busybooks. I only sell this in my Raket.PH store since it’s targeted to Pinoys.
Then I kinda stopped focusing on my digital products because my anxiety kicked in. I was stressed and felt down for quite a while that I didn’t function well. Not just with my digital product business but with almost everything. It wasn’t really a good time for me as I was struggling but at the same time, I can’t show that to others, especially to the kids.
So I took a pause and just let everything go its way.
In the process, I turned to affirmations to help me cope with that feeling.
And that’s how I had the idea of creating affirmation cards as my next digital product.
I actually did 2 sets, but I launched the 52 Affirmation Cards for Self-Improvement and Personal Growth first. A lot of the statements here helped me to feel better. Also, I made this as a PLR template because I wanted other people to be able to use it for their own or to sell it to others and help them feel better, too. I do hope this picks up — I believe in this product and I know it will benefit other people.

Most recently, I also signed up as an affiliate to another digital product seller. She was one of the first who offered the affiliate program over at Raket.PH. I follow her social media and I like that she really gives advice, tips, and her experiences in digital product selling and digital marketing.
And I also bought this product from her: the How to Sell Digital Products in 2024 eBook for Personal Use Only. The topics here made me familiar with how this business is, what PLR and MRR licenses mean, and a lot more. She has a lot of other products in her store so if you want to learn more about digital products, I suggest you check her out.

This basically sums up where I am with regards to my digital product endeavors. Hopefully I can get some extra while doing this. For some reason, it’s pretty therapeutic for me creating digital products. But more than that, I hope other people will find them useful.
You can check them out on the links above if you’re curious. 🙂
